The Riverview School Parents Association provides a link to the school for parents of Riverview and GROW students. This is accomplished through a mentoring program, newsletter, parent directory, staff appreciation activities and volunteer support for various activities and the June Benefit Gala.
The mentoring program is provided for new students of Riverview and GROW. Each new student's family is assigned a veteran family at the beginning of the year, matched primarily for geographical convenience, to be available for support and guidance.
We sponsor two staff appreciation activities each year, one at the holiday season and the other in June, as a way of saying "thank you" to the school's dedicated faculty and staff. Parents may provide support by making a directed donation via the Advancement Office.
The June Benefit Gala is a major fundraiser for the school. Parents are asked to volunteer time and/or auction items, and, of course, to attend the event itself. This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet the parents of your child's new best friends, dine on exquisite food, have fun, and raise money for our children's future and for the future students of Riverview.
